Monday 23/07/12!!

Again a hot levante day with new customers. Today we had few kids from Madrid with us. Ricki was the instructor for Alba and Miguel. Last time that they family had wisited Tarifa thay saw the sky full of kites and Alba said that she would like to try kitesurfing one day. Now after a yeas their dad brought these kids back to Tarifa and they are doing their course with us. Here is some photos of Alba and Miguel on theis first day!!

Monday 16/07/12 A day in Algeciras, Playa de Palmones

As it was a bit too strong Levante today to do our courses in Tarifa, we decided to go to the beach in Algeciras called Playa de Palmones. There the wind was perfect to practise kitesurfing. Playa de Palmones is quite a small beach in Algeciras and as there weren't that many people there we had enough space to do our courses there.

Today we didn't have any beginners so everyone practised their skills further in the water. Marcus's teacher today was Flavian.

Krista also had a private lesson with Roberto and she managed to get up really well straight from the beginning.

Romain had today a semi-private course with Beatrice and Rafa. They were also practising waterstart. And they both managed to get up really well.

Then Maxim continued with the two kids, Daniel and Kibron, from Belgium. The kids did really well and the wind conditions were good for them.

And after a while it was time to introduce the board to them.

Eventhough the beach and conditions were new for our customers today, they all did really well. And sometimes it's also nice to see other beaches too.

Levante Sunday 15/07/12!

Today was really nice and good levante day at the beach. We had one group course going on for a third day and then we had two kids learning kitesurfing. Roman was teaching Krista, Erasmus, Larry and Daigel. Krista is from Netherlands and she's doing her first kitesurfing course with us here in Tarifa. Eramsus and Daigel are from UK and Larry is from Australia and these guys had done their first course with us two years ago. So now they came back to Tarifa and went littlebit further with their kitesurfing skills! Really great group!

Maxim had two kids today; Daniel and Kibron. Boys dad brought them here in Tarifa to learn some kitesurfing, their dad was allready a really good kitesurfer so now was the time to bring the children in the sport and boys were really exited about the course!

11/07/2012 Busy wednesday

As the high season for the summer has started, the days at the beach has started to be a bit busy with lots of people there. So today, the 11th of July, we headed to the beach quite early allready. We were one of the first schools there to start our courses, which was good as we had more room on the beach and in the water just for us.

But first things first, before you can start to practise kitesurfing you have always set up the gear properly, eventhough you are a professional and you just want to head to the water straight immediately.

Today it was the 3rd day for Juan, Carlo, Alvaro and Mario so it was time for them to go to the water and start practising the waterstart. But first they practised a bit on the beach to get the feeling about the wind of today.

Then it was time to go into the water with a board.

And then it was Juan's turn to try.

Then we had customers from Norway, William and Kristian. And it was also the day for them to go with the board. But first they practised a bit more bodydragging and when they felt ready, they started to do the waterstart.

Then we had also Maria and Miquel doing semi-private course with our instuctor Ricky.

Today Maya from Switzerland and Marcus from Germany started their private courses. It was the first time ever for Marcus to do kitesurfing but Maya had done it before so we'll see which tricks she is able to do after the private lessons.

Then it was the second day for the guys from Finland, Janne, Ville and Lauri. They were all excited about the day and how everything is going to go.

And as you can see, it went well. So it was the time to start to do waterstart.

And as there were such a good wind, there were also some professional kiters doing their training for the day.
